BIOMATERIAL HOUSING IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
BIOBASED HOUSING
The project delves into current models of collective housing in Latin America and the Caribbean utilizing organic materials such as wood, bamboo, earth, and recycled materials.
It explores various value chains, maps locations where these materials are prevalent through data analysis, and identifies suitable applications. Strategies for responsible material extraction are proposed alongside maps predicting future material availability based on historical climate data and existing terrain types in Latin America.
With the USL at IAAC.
